Welcome to Connect Mohr Legal Consultants

Welcome to my first blog. The first that I hope will be many.

I am excited to announce my new company, Connect Mohr Legal Consultants, launched in 2018. We are a consulting group catering to the solo and small law firms in Southern California. Our focus is to help you with your vendor management, including e-Discovery, marketing (the dreaded business development) and train your firm on client relations (i.e customer service). What does all of this mean? Ask yourself the following questions:

Do you and your staff have time and/or resources to:

  • keep up on your marketing, including social media? Are you using social media the right way?
  • look over each vendor bill to make sure you were billed correctly?
  • research any new product that could help your practice and/or your case?
  • meet with vendors and go over proposals and trials?
  • have the knowledge to handle client relations?
  • know what vendor would be a good fit for your firm and/or case?
  • Do you want to save money, time and increase revenue?

If you answered NO to any question then call us today for a COMPLIMENTARY consultation. We will:

1. Sit down and evaluate your practice, staff, look over your vendor bills, marketing (business development) strategy and how your staff works with your clients. We will do a COMPLIMENTARY assessment of where we can improve your practice. If we feel we cannot help, we will let you know.

2. If we can help, then we will outline a strategy together. We will then decide if it would be cost efficient to work on an hourly, monthly or per project basis.

In addition, we have several Partner’s that we can recommend for your firm and/or case. Our partner’s, share the same vision as we do. Helping you to focus on what you do best, practice law.  We will do the rest.

Why I started Connect Mohr Legal Consultants

I started my career as a litigation paralegal what seems to be a lifetime ago. Being behind a desk 8 – 12 hours a day was just not me. I needed to be on the go, outside moving around. My sales career started in copiers and fax machines, with the thought that if I would do this for a couple of years. A couple of years turned into five. New technologies were emerging every day and I wanted to learn. However, I never lost my love for the law. I used my experience in legal, sales and technology and started working for a legal research company.

Though out the years, I have helped many firms and their staff with their legal research, depositions, ESI, attorney services, marketing and finding the right vendor for their project. Customer service has always been a priority for me. My clients know they can call me at any time, day or night. If I don’t answer right away, I will call them back as soon as I am able. If I don’t have a solution for them, I will find one. I always believed in working with the client to find the best possible solution for their case.

For a long time, I have noticed that the solo and small firms get overlooked by many vendors. Most vendors go after the “big boys”. They seem to work with these firms to negotiate a better price for their services then they do the solo/small firm. True, these firms will being in a higher volume, but that does not mean the solo/small firm should be penalized for that.

Most of these firms do not have the staff or resources to work on their vendor management, marketing (the dreaded business development) or train in client relations (i.e customer service). That is where Connect Mohr Legal Consultants comes in. We will work with the firm to achieve their goals. How do we do this?

1. Sitting down and evaluating their practice, staff, look over vendor bills, marketing strategy and how they work with their clients. We will do a COMPLIMENTARY assessment of where we can improve their practice. If we feel we cannot help, we will let you know.

2. If we can help, then we will outline a strategy together. We will then decide if it would be cost efficient to be charged on an hourly, monthly or per project basis.

In addition, we have several Partner’s that we can recommend for your firm and/or case. Our partner’s share the same vision as we do. Helping you to focus on what you do best, practice law.
